Mutts Marathon!!

Come and join the fun at Ramapo-Bergen Animal Refuge's 5th Annual Mutts Marathon on Saturday, October 10th from 11am-5pm at shepherd Lake in Ringwood State Park! You can browse the booths, shop 'til you drop, enjoy the demostrations, participate in the marathon, and much, much more! But whatever you do, don't miss it!

Carnivale of the Dogs - a fun day for all!

Come join Best Friends Pet Care at the Carnivale of the Dogs! This fun-filled event is being hosted by Companion Animal Advocates and TD Bank on Saturday, October 3rd from 11am-4pm at The Wild Duck Pond (1133 E. Ridgewood Ave) in Ridgewood, NJ, rain or shine! There will be tons of vendors to visit and tricky trays to win! In addition, numerous rescue organizations with fabulous furry friends will be parading around looking for a loving new family to go home with! And if you want a chance for your canine companion to be crowned King or Queen of the Carnivale click here to create your own fundraising page. The dog who raises the most money will be crowned King or Queen of the Carnival at the opening ceremony plus some additonal great prizes! Visit Carnival of the Dogs for more information! September's Campers of the Month - Diva and Toby!!

Diva is the lovely Westie in the photo to the left. She loves coming to camp and geting tons of love from the counselors and other dogs. She has a total blast prancing around like the princess she is! Diva is usually found chasing around her big brother Toby, the handsome Golden pictured below. They are two peas in a pod! Toby loves coming to camp so much he comes tearing through the doors and can't wait to get in and play! He wrestles with all of his friends and goes home totally worn out! There is never a day when these two don't put a smile on our faces! Thank you Diva and Toby for being such spectacular campers!
